The Rynek will be a little emptier in the coming days. With heat temperatures approaching 40 degrees, the City of Krakow has introduced a ban on horse-drawn carriages (known as dorożki) standing in the Main Square between 10:00am and 8:00pm as a precaution for the health of the animals and operators, reports Gazeta KrakowskaTypically, the Main Square can have up to 18 carriages standing at a single time.
