Good news for travelers in Krakow and Lesser Poland. Irish airline Ryanair announces 14 new destinations from Saint John Paul II International Airport Kraków–Balice. The flights will begin at the end of October, 2017.

New Ryanair connections from Krakow:

  • Athens (2 weekly),
  • Barcelona (2 weekly),
  • Berlin (daily),
  • Glasgow (2 weekly),
  • Gothenburg (3 weekly),
  • Lisbon (2 weekly),
  • Malmo (3 weekly),
  • Marrakesh (2 weekly),
  • Marseille (2 weekly),
  • Naples (2 weekly),
  • Nuremberg (3 weekly),
  • Prague (2 weekly),
  • Seville (2 weekly),
  • Tel Aviv (2 weekly).

 

The move expands Ryanair’s operations at Krakow Airport by 40%, expected to move 2.75 million passengers in total and create 2,000 jobs, reports Gazeta Krakowska. This means that over half of passengers at Krakow Airport will be clients of Ryanair. Krakow Airport moved just shy of 5 million individuals in 2016.
